Description: Mikhail zilbermanhas been active in the film industry since 1978. for 10 years he was a staff line-producer at gorky film studios; russia's second largest film studio. in 1988 founded, together with the film director vladimir grammatikov, the film productions company kontakt, one of the very first independent productions company's co-productions with the west. one of the project, being made as producer m.zilberman "russian singer" (joint russian- denmark coproduction) was present at the competition berlin film festival at 1993. m.zilberman also acts as consultant to russian and western film and tv companies on co- productions and during filming in russia. m.zilberman is a member of the board of the russian union of film makers, and a director of the russian guilde of production managers. in 1997 m.zilberman became deputy managing director of ntv-profit film company.
