Description: Bob recon was born in berkeley, california. his father, originally from scotland, was a professor of archeology at uc berkeley. his mother was a tahitian political activist who was exiled from tahiti for her involvement with a failed socialist coup attempt, and in the 1960's she became involved in the black panthers.bob recon studied cognitive science at stanford university, but instead of pursuing an academic career he applied his knowledge to sound art. he was the first experimental musician to compose and perform "extreme frequency music" that is inaudible to human hearing.recon now lives in london, england, where he is an infamous figure in the london underground music and art scenes.
