Description: He was born 1966 in munich, germany, son ofrudolf schündler, director and actor. oliver schündler worked as a director's assistant and dramatic advisor for a wide variety of theatre and television projects (with such directors as robert lépage, georg tabori, leander haussmann and matthias hartmann at the bavarian state theatre in munich, and peter stein and luca ronconi at the salzburg festival), before joining the bavaria film group in 1994. during the following years he produced numerous tv movies and series: from 2000 oliver schündler accounted for the entire range of international co-productions from the bavaria film group. later he also managed worldwide tv rights and was responsible for top-quality international event co-productions. from 2004 he was also managing director of bavaria media italia s.r.l. in rome and, from october 2005, co-managing director of german united distributors. oliver schündler has been managing director and producer of lucky bird pictures since 2008.
