Description: Koo kwang-mo is the chairman and chief executive of lg, one of south korea's top five conglomerates. he inherited the shares of his late father and former lg chairman koo bon-moo after his death in may 2018. he is an adopted son of the former chairman, who lost his biological son in 1994; kwang-mo was born as a nephew to bon-moo. in 2019, at age 41, he became the youngest chairman of a major korean conglomerate. in 2018 he was part of a business delegation that accompanied president moon to pyongyang, north korea.
